Don't buy the kindle edition. Get the hard copy.

Content of the book is great. Entails a detailed workout plan that you can customize for yourselve as well as invaluable advice and strategies on nutrition and training. Would have given 5 stars but will go with 3 on the kindle addition as the kindle edition is real junk in terms of setout and layout compared to the hard copy. Purchase the hard copy, its a world apart from the miserable kindle edition.

Same ideals of any body transformation book with nothing special. Very disappointed. I was looking for something new for motivation and a solid plan but this book is more of a sample plan that left me looking for more detail and motivation. As I read thru each chapter I found myself comparing this book to Bill Phillips Body for LIfe and various Men's Fitness books that outline exercise, cardio and fitness routines for optimal health. The only issue is that this book is vague and lacks motivation. From chapter to chapter I was always looking for something more.

This is a very good book detailing a largely unknown coda to the B-17's lengthy career as a front-line heavy bomber. It covers in great detail the acquisition of three aircraft by the Israeli Defence Forces and their deployment in various operations from the War of Independence to the Suez Crisis.The detailed text is accompanied by a wonderful collection of black and white photographs and full colour illustrations. I can't believe this book hasn't been turned into an Olive Kitteridge style mini series by HBO with Sarah Paulson playing legendary actress Eileen Heckart.

An absolute gem!!

I can't believe how much I loved this book!! I didn't know Miss Heckart personally but I now feel like I did. Her son has written a beautiful, funny, loving tribute to his mother, one of the first ladies of the American theatre.
Thank you, Luke for telling us so much about her and your relationship. I will never forget the laughter and tears I had while reading it.
Heckie was one of the greats! Everything I ever saw her in was fabulous because she was in it!
Wish I could see you in Diva Dish! I bet you are amazing!
Your Mama would be so proud! God bless you for sharing this with us all.

Her son knew and loved his mother

This was the most insightful, generous, warm, hilarious and at times heartbreaking tome I have ever read. Her son knew and loved his mother. She was a brilliant actress who didn't really act. She told stories. She worked in the business of show for over 50 years. I couldn't put it down. I am lucky to be the same age as the author. I got the references. It runs the gamut from Hollywood to Broadway and in between. Such a remarkable performer and mother he had growing up. This is the contra "Mommie Dearest".

About the Author

Turan Gönen received a BS and MS from Istanbul Technical College, MS and two Ph.Ds from Iowa State University, and MBA from University of Oklahoma. He has held positions at University of Missouri–Columbia, University of Missouri–Rolla, University of Oklahoma, Iowa State University, Florida International University, and Ankara Technical College; served as a design engineer and consultant in US and international power industries; and written over 100 technical papers and five books. An IEEE fellow and IIE senior member, he is currently professor of electrical engineering and director of the Electrical Power Educational Institute at California State University, Sacramento.

Excellent book

The book contains the full theory necessary for the electrical distribution networks (e.g the simplified voltage drop calculations which are not included in many books about power systems) but also the real applications (e.g. real transformer connections and capacitors installations). I believe that one of the reasons that this book is great is that one of its references is a book written by real engineers back from 1965, when the engineers knew how to make real calculations by hand and not by software. If you solve the examples and the exercises , you really feel that you deal with 'actual distribution engineering'. I enjoy it.

Good for personal introspection and growth

I enjoyed this book like I enjoyed Believing Christ the Parable of the Bicycle and Other Good News and The Peacegiver: How Christ Offers to Heal Hearts and Homes. I think the best LDS books help you to learn and apply the Gospel of Christ in your own life. It is well written without the pretention of so many "scholarly" LDS books. Kevin Hinckley uses the scriptures, general conference talks, analogies and a few academic quotes to make you think about your own life.
